Safe, Comfortable, and Confident Learning Environment

In order for students to be in the best learning environment they need to feel safe, comfortable, and confident. Positive Reinforcement is very important in our classroom.

Mrs. Gianna & Mr. Tom

Mrs. Gianna has her Bachelor's Degree in early childhood education as well as her Master’s Degree in early childhood education and special education. She graduated from The College of Saint Rose with both bachelors and masters degrees; in which she played division II soccer. Mrs. Gianna is a NY state certified teacher and has been teaching for eight years; yet when she moved to Florida dove into the homeschool style of teaching and never looked back. Mr. Tom will be the teacher assistant in the classroom. He has his bachelor's degree from Marist College. Mr. Tom has been Mrs. Gianna’s teacher’s assistant for two years. Together with their classroom teaching, parent’s involvement, and God’s guidance we will set up an individualized learning environment that both students and parents will love to attend.

Together as a team we can help every student achieve their potential through…

Spiritual Development

All humans are created by God and in the image of God. We believe this is important for students to know and remember daily. Students will learn and study about different bible stories throughout the year; as well as memorize bible verses. We start every morning thanking God for waking us up, we pray before each meal, and we will have worship time throughout our day.

Social Development

Eagle’s Nest Microschool strives to equip students to develop the skills, knowledge and attitudes they need to get along with others in the community. Students recognize and respect God’s image in others, treating everyone with dignity, learning responsibility, loyalty, kindness, faithfulness, and fair play.

Whole Person Philosophy

Children have been created in the image of God and are spiritual, intellectual, social and physical beings. Eagle’s Nest Microschool strives for the “Whole Person” philosophy that fosters the growth of the student in every area of life. Our goal is to encourage children’s learning and thinking by being responsive to children’s understandings, interests, and abilities, allowing them to deepen their natural curiosity and discovery of the world around them.
